Titanosaur exhibition at Peterborough Cathedral

Peterborough Cathedral will welcome a visitor of truly extraordinary scale: Titanosaur, one of the largest creatures ever to walk the Earth. This full‑scale cast of Patagotitan mayorum, on loan from London’s Natural History Museum will stand beneath our soaring central tower from 13 April, marking its very first appearance outside the capital in the UK. You have until 31st May to visit it so don’t miss out!

At 37 metres long and over 8 metres high, it’s the length of a whole swimming pool! This is a rare chance to stand before a giant of Earth’s ancient past… inside a space built for awe.

What awaits you:

  • A breathtaking full-scale cast of Titanosaur that redefines “epic scale”
  • A vibrant programme of family activities (on selected dates)
  • Events that dive into the science, history, and wonder of these prehistoric titans

Photos are impressive. Seeing it in person? That’s something else entirely.
