Where are we? – Light Project Peterborough (LPP) aims to put the Christian faith into action through its work with the homeless and vulnerable in the City. The ‘Garden House’ project opened in October 2018 on a short-term lease and acts as an access ‘hub’ for the Safer Off the Streets Partnership. LPP is seeking to secure planning permission, funding and partner support to develop a ‘New Garden House’ facility on a new site, which it is hoped could be built and open within the next two years. What is the aim of the consultation? – The aim of the ‘New Garden House’ consultation is: ‘To enable all those with an interest in supporting people sleeping rough in Peterborough to comment on how they feel the ‘New Garden House’ could best build on work undertaken to date and, by developing services in partnership, make a significant difference to individuals’ lives and prospects’. How can I contribute to the consultation? – Please give us your views by responding to the questions. Any responses you give are strictly confidential and will only be used for the purposes of the consultation. How will the consultation results be shared? – The key findings will be shared at a Workshop Webinar on Thursday 16 July at 5.00pm. Details of how to join the webinar will be posted on LPP’s website: www.lightprojectpeterborough.org.uk. A full report of findings will be submitted to the LPP Trustees by the end of July.
