Head of Operations Vacancy at St John’s Church and St Luke’s Church

We are looking to appoint a Head of Operations – a new developmental post which will be responsible for co-ordinating, managing, and integrating all parish activities, as well as helping us grow and develop further to serve our city. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping our work at a pivotal stage and our new colleague will need to be flexible, committed and passionate about our mission to be a beacon of faith, hope and love in the heart of the City.

The post is part-time (0.7 – 24.5 hours per week) with hybrid working possible and some out of hours working required. Salary range is £24,500-£28,000 pro rata (£35-40,000 FTE) dependent on experience. The post is fully funded for the first year, with the expectation that the postholder will help secure funding for subsequent years.

The role requires an enhanced DBS check, Church of England safeguarding training, and strict adherence to safer recruitment practices.
